Black Arts & Alchemy is the definition of a PERFECT EP! Every single song stands for it's own and could be single releases, if they wanted to be. It's a ripper (pun intended) and shows how absolutely brilliant of a musician and composer James McBain has become. A flawless blend of speed, blackened themes and catchy riffs/choruses. This will remain in my Top 3 favorite EPs of all time and it will be near impossible to dethrone it. poutineslayer

Anything that starts off with a Mad Max sample is going to kick spotty bottom and you fucking know if there's Umlauts in their logo there's a damned decent chance it's going to be some Motorhead infused sonic attack coming out of your speakers and making your ears bleed, The artwork is too good not to be a shirt please make it happen dainton

Gotta love it when you circle back to check up on a band you love after a while and find that they've gotten even better. Pure, honest, blistering death metal that's as satisfying as the staple dm albums I still listen to from 20-30+ years ago, if not more so. Outstanding! kilroywasneverhere
